Gus Alvarez, Vice President/Chief Of Operations of the Modified Motorcycle Association (MMA, mma-ca.org), has done it again - another successful annual rain-or-shine swap meet held at the Dixon May Fairgrounds on Sunday, December 6th. Recall this is the swap meet that the MMA used to hold annually at the Cow Palace in Daly City. Vendor setup was "officially" from 8am to 10am, although there just may have been a few early birds scoping out what other vendors had brought before 8am. Some vendors set up outside, some vendors set up inside, and although there was a 5 to 10 percent chance of rain, there was no appreciable wetness, merely gray skies; around 11'ish it was 50'ish degrees and a little overcast, all in all - a good day. The gates were open to the public from 10am to 5pm. There was a little bit of everything here, old parts, new parts, tools, etc., etc., etc. Didn't find what you were looking for??? Maybe you didn't get here early enough... come earlier next year. Mark your calendar now - next year's MMA Dixon May Fairgrounds Swap Meet will be Sunday, December 4th, 2016... rain or shine!
